Missing you...

Today I heard the Lord called for my Aunt to come home...and I remembered this pray:

"God's Garden"
God looked around His Garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always take the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew that you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
and the hills too hard to climb.
So, He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with my Aunt this past summer. I know must have weighted heavy on her heart to say goodbye to her beloved family, but she had greater work to be done in Heaven.

To my uncle and cousins that have lost someone so special...my heart goes out to all of you and I pray for you all to find comfort in all the greatness that she is and know that she will be forever by your side. Don't forget to keep talking to her, she will listen.

Love, Katie
